Formed 10 Years ago, MiRMiS have spent the decade refining their “Epic Rock”, gigging all over the UK to ever increasing audiences while flirting with record companies such as Sony BMG and V2 before signing with Organic Records late in 2006. Their debut single “Who Do You Trust” just missed a UK chart placing in the summer of 07, but made strong impressions in Canada and Australia, they are now in the process of recording their first CD for the label. They have a classic rock sound but fans and pundits alike find it difficult to liken to any one band, but in that sound there is diversity unlike any other band on the live circuit today. Ever crowd pleasing, they show deft writing skills and high level of musical ability and in Paul Clowes has possibly one of the best vocalists the UK has produced in years. MiRMiS have never been ‘cool’ or have tried to copy their heroes – more of a collective of 5 individuals, each which bring their own unique input to one of the most unique and listenable bands currently on the British music scene. 2008 started with a nomination for the Indy Awards, which the band were thrilled to receive.
